2026 DKWTS CHALLENGES

DKWTS 6.0 will be made up of 3 “Tours” (main challenges) each consisting of 3 "Stages” (smaller weekly challenges) to equal a total of 9 weeks. Tours will be scored by overall metrics (time, distance, and elevation). Stages and Bonus challenges will be scored using other data. Participants will be awarded “Purrito Points” for the challenges and activities they complete. There are a variety of ways to score Purrito Points during the series. Some are participation-based (P) and others are competition-based (C) and will be ranked. But remember: ALL rides count. The more Purrito Points you get, the more chances you have to WIN prizes! Tour 2: Adventure Kitten - DISTANCE CHALLENGE (Jan 26-Feb 15, 2026)

Stage 3: February 9 - February 15, 2026

RIDE CHALLENGE (20 pts): Choose-Your-Own-Adventure

You can choose to do one OR both options this week…

Option #1. Ride the Most Miles in a Single Day (C)

Most miles ridden in a single day (multiple rides will be combined)

Category: Competitive - Top 10 in each category will receive points - 10 points max

Option #2. Beat Your Average Weekly Ride Distance (P)

Ride up to 20% more than your average weekly ride distance so far for the series

Category: Participation - Anyone who completes this challenge and exceeds their average weekly ride distance (up to 20%) will receive points - 10 pts total

RIDE BONUS (5 pts): DK Club Ride Day

Choose one:

1. DK Zwift Club Ride - must participate for at least 1 hour (virtual)

2. Real Life - Complete a ride inside or out for at least 1 hour on the same day as one of our DK Club rides this week (use #DKWTS in your ride title)

SOCIAL BONUS (5 pts) - Creativity Challenge: Share something you’ve created, made, assembled, cooked, baked, etc (sponsored by McMaker Studios)

Pat McMahon (Founding Partner, McMaker Studios) is a designer and builder, as well as a cyclist and regular Dirty Kitten event participant. He has been collecting and building with salvage materials for some time now (his collection fills an entire storage lot and a 30x100' barn) and soon realized that he had a passion for creating with these found items. McMaker Studios evolved from this passion to build one-off projects for himself, friends and family to eventually working on commissioned projects for all types of clients.
