2026 DKWTS CHALLENGES

DKWTS 6.0 will be made up of 3 “Tours” (main challenges) each consisting of 3 "Stages” (smaller weekly challenges) to equal a total of 9 weeks. Tours will be scored by overall metrics (time, distance, and elevation). Stages and Bonus challenges will be scored using other data. Participants will be awarded “Purrito Points” for the challenges and activities they complete. There are a variety of ways to score Purrito Points during the series. Some are participation-based (P) and others are competition-based (C) and will be ranked. But remember: ALL rides count. The more Purrito Points you get, the more chances you have to WIN prizes! Stay tuned for more info…

SOCIAL BONUS (5 pts) - Bike Pack Challenge: What fun, interesting, or weird/unusual thing(s) do you carry with you on the bike? Sponsored by Resilience Custom Crafted*

*We will choose 2 of our favorite photos from this week and the winners will receive a bar bag from Resilience Custom Crafted - Pack for every adventure!

Mandie Sayers (Owner/Founder - Resilience Custom Crafted) says the weirdest thing she's ever carried in her bike bag is a staple remover during the Marji Gesick 50 (stay tuned for the full story of that adventure coming soon!). In addition, she's been known to carry hard boiled eggs, various dairy products, an entire tostada, and pickle beer.

Mandie grew up sewing with her mother and started making custom clothes (for her Barbies) at a young age. When she began cycling and going on bike adventures as an adult, she decided to try her hand at making custom bike bags to "fill a gap" she felt existed in the market. A natural problem-solver, Mandie started designing her own fun, colorful, durable bike bags in different sizes, shapes, and designs to fit the various needs she had when on both adventure gravel and mountain bike rides. Soon friends and strangers started asking if she would take orders and a side-gig was born! In 2025, Mandie launched Resilience Custom Crafted and now takes custom bag orders through her website!

Mandie lives in Culpeper, VA and is a member of CAMBO (Culpeper Area Mountain Bike Organization), a local mountain bike club and volunteers at our Dirty Kitten events every year. Check out the Resilience Custom Crafted website and social media pages (@resiliencecustom).
