About Alex and Chris Howell
Alex and Chris live in Frederick, Maryland near the Frederick Watershed Trails (“The Shed”). They met on a bike ride in 2016, married a few years later, and soon after started their joint business: CFH Adventures & Events, LLC (d/b/a/ Dirty Kitten Productions).
A former English teacher, Alex now works as Store Manager of Bike Doctor Frederick while Chris commutes to Baltimore where he works as a Software Developer. The couple manages their own teams and events on the side (for now) and always has a new project in the works.
Alex & Chris love all types of riding: road, gravel, mtb, adventure, bikepacking, and more! They can be found either riding bikes, traveling with their adventure dog (Pacha), or at home with their 2 cats (Kori & Snowy).

Established in 2019, Dirty Kitten Productions is an outdoor adventure event management and promotion company co-owned and co-operated by Alex and Chris Howell.
Based out of Frederick, Maryland, Dirty Kitten Productions is one branch of CFH Adventures & Events, LLC.

Dirty Kitten Racing
Dirty Kitten Racing is a grassroots, women's cycling team (gravel, mountain bike, cyclocross, adventure) with riders from across the United States and North America.
Our team and events work together to support women and underrepresented groups in the cycling community.

BaseCamp Frederick
Basecamp Frederick is the sister organization of Dirty Kitten Productions (under the CFH Adventures & Events, LLC umbrella). It provides resources & lodging for cycling (road, mountain, gravel), hiking, and other outdoor activities in the Frederick, MD area.

Dirty Kittens and the Community
We at Dirty Kitten believe that supporting the local community and those who strive for a similar mission is an important part of who we are and our place in society as a whole.
Dirty Kitten supports, partners with, contributes to, and helps raise money for various groups, clubs, organizations, businesses, and causes in our area (as well as around the country) in a variety of ways through both our events and team fundraising campaigns.
